Our Story

For couples who love each other…

but sometimes feel a little disconnected.

This isn’t a fairy tale.
It’s a real story about two people who love deeply — and still had to learn how to come back to each other again and again.

Martina & Tomash

We first met in high school.
Young, in love, convinced we’d found “our person”.

Then life happened.

We went our separate ways for years.
Different lives. Different paths. Different versions of ourselves.

And then, in 2020, we found each other again.

Not as teenagers.
As adults.
With history, wounds, expectations, and very real ideas about how love should work.

Loving each other wasn’t the problem

When we got back together, the love was strong.
Deep. Real. Certain.

But something surprised us.

Even with all that love…
connection didn’t automatically stay.

There were phases where we felt close and playful.
And phases where things felt quiet. Distant. Heavy.

Not dramatic enough to call it a “problem”.
But enough to feel it in the body.

Like being together…
but not really with each other.

Nothing was wrong. Life was just loud.

We didn’t fight all the time.
We didn’t stop loving each other.

We were just living.

Work. Stress. Logistics. Phones. Responsibilities.
Days passing without really landing in each other’s presence.

And the hardest part?

No one talks about this phase.

So you start wondering if something is wrong with you.
With your relationship.
With your love.

It took us a long time to realize this simple truth:

This is normal.

We didn’t need fixing. We needed reminders.

What actually helped us wasn’t more talking.
Or more analyzing.
Or trying to “do the relationship better”.

What helped were small pauses.

Tiny moments where we stopped, looked at each other, and remembered:
“Oh. It’s you. We’re here. We’re on the same side.”

That’s when the idea of a physical reminder appeared.

Not as a product.
Not as a business.

But as something we needed.

Why the bracelets exist

We created the bracelets because words don’t always reach us in the moment.

When emotions are high.
When silence feels heavy.
When life pulls you in different directions.

The magnet isn’t about romance.
It’s about return.

A small, physical pause back to “us”.

If this feels familiar…

If you’ve ever felt:

  • close, but not connected

  • loving, but tired

  • together, but missing presence

You’re not broken.
And you’re not alone.

This story is here so you know that.

This is what led us to create Magnetic Couples Bracelets.
